Travel agency in a Black Box network

Behind Supersaver is SRG Finland Oy which is a daughter company of Svenska Resegruppen in Sweden. SRG has also an alternative full service travel agency, Töölön Matkatoimisto, which has traditions for 40 years back.

The network is the office

SRG has operated in Finland for two years and grown rapidly. In the shift of this year they moved to a new office in Helsinki. One of the first tasks was to build a local area network as all the operation goes through the network. Every morning all of the ten employees of the office sign in through the network and routers to the head office servers in Stockholm. In the same physical network function also the IP telephones used at the offices.

Black Box serves rapidly

- Our company operates geographically distributed in all the Nordic Countries so working telecommunication is vital for us, says Mr. Mikko Vartiainen, Country Manager for SRG Finland. - To concentrate the servers in Stockholm is a good solution for us as we don't need local maintenance. IP telephone system is flexible, phone calls between the offices are free and we need only one connection point to the traditional telephone network in each country.

Supersaver - We wanted the LAN quickly up after finding the new office and Black Box gave us an expert service and a very short delivery time, continues Mr. Vartiainen. - Our office is planned for 15 people and a few more will fit in if necessary. Black Box built us a LAN with 15 double connection points which connect to the routers in the rack cabinet. Only a week after the first contact the work was underway and completed in a few days. Since that everything has worked fine.
